Uracan Resources Ltd. (TSX.V:URC, OTC:URCFF) is a Canadian-based exploration company focused on exploring for and developing uranium deposits in the prolific Athabasca Basin in Saskatchewan, Canada.
Uracan is currently exploring on its two Joint Venture properties; the Black Lake Project (earning a 60% interest from UEX Corporation) and the Clearwater Project (earning a 70% interest from Forum Uranium). In addition, Uracan holds two 100%-owned projects in Saskatchewan (Pipewrench Lake) and Quebec (North Shore Property), Canada.
Since 2006, Uracan has discovered NI 43-101 compliant mineral resources of over 6.85 million lbs. U3O8 in the indicated category (21.5Mt at 0.014% U3O8) and 37.1 million lbs. U3O8 in the inferred category (140.65Mt at 0.012% U3O8).
