Gregg J. Sedun - LLB
President, Chairman, CEO & Director
Mr. Sedun, a venture capital professional based out of Vancouver, Canada, graduated with a Bachelor of Law degree (LLB) and has 28 years of industry-related experience. He was a former Partner at the Vancouver law firm Rand Edgar Sedun and specialized in the practice of corporate finance and mining law for 15 years until his retirement from law in 1997. Thereafter, Mr. Sedun founded two private venture capital firms, including Global Vision Capital Corp., where he continues to carry on venture capital investing today as President and CEO.
Mr. Sedun has been involved as a director and/or founding shareholder in a number of successful companies including Diamond Fields Resources Inc. (Founding Director) which was acquired by Inco in 1996 for $4.3 billion in the largest takeover of a junior mining company in Canadian history; Adastra Minerals Inc. (Founding Director) which was acquired by First Quantum Minerals in 2006 for $275 million; and Peru Copper Inc. (Founding Shareholder) which was acquired by Chinalco in 2007 in an all-cash $840 million takeover. Mr. Sedun is also currently Executive Chairman of Goldgroup Mining Inc. (TSX:GGA), President of Oceanic Iron Ore Corp. (TSX.V:FEO) and former President and CEO of Diamond Fields International Ltd. (TSX:DFI).

John Sutherland - CGA
Chief Financial Officer, Secretary, Director
Mr. Sutherland is a Vancouver-based specialist in corporate finance, resource and growth companies. In addition to his position as Chief Financial Officer of Uracan Resources, Mr. Sutherland is also Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer of Goldgroup Mining Inc. (TSX:GGA), a Canadian-based gold producer which is focused on the acquisition, exploration and development of advanced stage gold-bearing mineral properties in Mexico. Mr. Sutherland was Chief Financial Officer of Arequipa Resources leading up to its acquisition by Barrick Gold for $1.1 billion. He was also a partner in a venture capital company specializing in worldwide marketing ventures and previous to that, Site Manager in building a $110 million gold mine in California. Most recently, he was Co-Founder, Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer of Tekion Inc., a micro fuel cell developer, and acted as a key partner in its growth from 4 to 75 employees in under three years and raising US$18 million for this private company. Prior to Tekion, he was President and Chief Executive Officer of ASC AVCAN Systems Inc. and built the company into an international operation. He currently is a Corporate Director of five public companies, one of which is listed on NYSE/AMEX. Mr. Sutherland is a Certified General Accountant and has a diploma in Operations Management from the B.C. Institute of Technology.
Tom Garagan - P.Geo
Vice-President Exploration
Mr. Garagan was appointed Vice President Exploration of Bema Gold in 1996, after joining the Bema group of companies in 1991. A 1980 geology graduate from the University of Ottawa, he has worked in North and South America, East and West Africa and Russia. With the Bema companies, he has been instrumental in several discoveries, including the Cerro Casale (Chile) and Kupol (Russia) deposits.
Marc Simpson - P.Geo
Exploration Manager
Mr. Simpson has worked in the mining and exploration industry for over 18 years. He has worked for Junior, Mid-tier and Senior mining companies on projects both in Canada and worldwide, including Bema Gold (sold to Kinross for CDN$3.5 billion in 2007), B2Gold, and Echo Bay Mines. Mr. Simpson has been involved in exploration and mining projects from grass roots exploration through to mine development and production.
Mr. Simpson obtained his B.Sc. in Geology from the University of Manitoba and is a member of APEGBC, APEGM and OGQ.

Gordon Chapman - P.Geo
Senior Project Geologist
Mr. Chapman has worked as a professional geologist for the past 14 years. He began his career in the uranium industry working for COGEMA Resources (now AREVA) in the Athabasca Basin. He was involved in the early identification and development of the west Athabasca exploration program at Shea Creek including the Anne, Colette and Kianna deposits. Mr. Chapman was also the founding director of Groundwater Information Services Inc., a hydrogeological consulting firm based in Alberta providing groundwater information to Alberta Environment, the Energy Resources and Conservation Board and the oil and gas industry.
Mr. Chapman obtained his Honors B.Sc. in Geology from the University of Alberta in 1995 and is a member of APEGBC, APEGGA and APEGS.
